Fishing

The waters of Jamaica bay, when the time and season are right hold trophy size fish; most notably striped bass. The bay in springtime is alive as bait moves into the bay and big fish forage on them. Here is where the Karen Ann begins to stalk its quarry. You will experience first hand what live-lining is all about. Herring, bunker, eels and other baitfish will be used to get you that fish for the wall, that’s what I like to call our meat and potatoes fishing, ”big baits, big tide, big fish”.
